Friends of Lilly Library

About The Friends of Lilly Library

Founded in 1998, the Friends of Lilly Library is a charitable corporation organized to promote the objectives and interests of Lilly Library. The Friends work to help the library serve all patrons, so that the public may make full use of the library’s services and facilities, and so that the public may have a better understanding of the needs of the library.

Through annual membership dues and fundraisers, the Friends provide funds for the Children’s summer reading programs, museum passes, magazine and periodical subscriptions, maintaining and improving computer availability and accessibility, and to purchase equipment such as copy machines and bookdrops. The circulation desk in the lobby and the bookcase that houses the collection of Alfred Lilly’s books were gifts from the Friends memberships.

Donate to The Friends of Lilly Library

To join The Friends of Lilly Library, or to make an honorary or memorial donation to The Friends of Lilly Library, please download this form.

To donate via PayPal, click the "Donate" button and fill in the credit card information - Or - log in to your PayPal account. Please use the special instruction box on the "review donation" page to note whether your donation is for membership in the Friends or is an honorary or memorial donation to the Friends.

Note that the final PayPal page says, "review your recurring donation" even if you are making a one-time donation. You will not be billed for a recurring donation; this appears to be a glitch with PayPal's message.

The Friends of Lilly Library is a 501(c)(3) organization. All membership dues and donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
