How do I get a library card?

Your library card comes free of charge. Adults must have a picture ID and proof of address. Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the registration form.

How long can I keep my books?

DVDs, videos and magazines circulate for 7 days. New books circulate for 14 days. All other material goes out for 21 days.

What about renewing items?

You may renew items once unless another patron has requested the item. Items can be renewed over the phone during normal open hours or online by going to http://wmars.cwmars.org/search~/.

What are your overdue fines?

DVDs and Videos: $1.00 per day; $5.00 maximum per item
All other items: 10 cents per day; $3.00 maximum per item
Patrons have their borrowing privileges suspended when their accumulated fines (from all libraries in the system) exceed $10.00, if they have billed items from any library in the system or if they have more than 50 items in total from all libraries.

What if I lose my book?

If a patron loses an item, a replacement fee is charged. (Replacement copies are also accepted). For Lilly items, the replacement fee will be the recorded price of the item; if no price is recorded the default fee will be charged.

Do you accept book donations?

Donations are accepted with the approval of the Director. Books that are not useable by the Library will be sold, and are usually accepted only in the month prior to a book sale. We often have an annual book sale in May and occasional book sales in the fall.

How can I make a contribution to the library?

We welcome your contributions, which are tax-deductible and can be made in the form of cash, bequests, or securities. Checks may be made out to Lilly Library and sent to the Director.
